Analyst– ETL QA- Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Come join our team of ETL QAs and play a significant role in the application development and support, you will also be responsible for test case designing, and ensuring development quality of the solutions based on the agreed scope and SLAs by leveraging the existing technology and platforms.
Work you’ll do
Technical Skills
• Should be able to write SQL queries, perform schema validations to validate the table mappings and structures, Strong knowledge of database methodology
• Working experience in testing BI reports, Data flows in any of ETL tools such as Informatica, Cognos Data Manager, DataStage
• Fair understanding of Data Warehousing/Business intelligence concepts
• Utilizes ETL QA testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
• Demonstrates a working understanding of tools like TFS, QC
• Demonstrates a working understanding of quality assurance and/or software development processes and methodologies
• Responsible for developing testing activities including Test analysis, Test Case creation, debugging, and execution
Project Skills:
• Demonstrates a working understanding of the defect management process.
• Familiarizes himself/herself with the business functionality and technology used for assigned applications (under test).
• Demonstrates an ability to provide accurate test case estimates.
• Demonstrates an ability to deliver quality work on time
• Responsible for successful execution and alerting team leads and managers of obstacles, issues and risks.
• Ability to highlight issues faced during work and suggest actions to overcome this
• Collaborate with dev team for testing activities to ensure effective delivery
• Identifies ways of “working smarter”, through elimination of unnecessary steps or duplication Tools/Technology Skills

• Willingness to continuously learn and grow with emerging technologies

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
The team
Our IT & Systems team works behind the scenes, and is essential to the Deloitte organization. Our forward-thinking team members have the analytical skills needed to parse mountains of data and stellar communications skills needed to present research, discovery, and recommendations in a logical and easily understandable way. Our technologists provide IT infrastructure support to develop enterprise applications.
In addition, the team develops and maintains solutions built on ETL tools such as IBM Info sphere Datastage, Cognos Data Manager. The setup has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions by following a streamlined system development methodology and comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development, Quality Assurance, and Performance.
Qualifications Required
• 0 - 4 years of relevant work experience in QA
• Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology
Preferred:
• Experience as ETL QA on IBM Infosphere DataStage, SAP HANA, Cognos Data Manager
• Experience on testing web technologies
