Hello everyone , I am Aakanksha
I would like to share my experience on Accenture off-campus drive on 4, May 2021 for the role of associate software engineer. I hope this will help you on the upcoming Accenture drive . Go through the full post to know all about it .
Share it with your friends who need help as well.
Stage 1 is the most important round as it is an elimination round. You are asked questions from English and reasoning. I felt English was easy to crack in fact easiest of other sections in this stage. The reasoning and aptitude section is basic but will require more time and time management is important as I felt the number of questions was higher in context to time provided. Other sections in this stage such as the Application of excel and office, networking, security cloud has basic questions too but one need to be really quick in these sections.
Always attempt the English and reasoning section first especially English because it will not require much time. Take a quick recap of questions from time & work, blood relations, statement & conclusion, directional sense, etc. before the exam. The English section includes fill-in-the-blanks, editing, omitting, and comprehension-type questions.
Stage 2:- Coding ( 45 Mins.)
After submitting stage 1 you need to wait for the result without closing the window as if you qualify that section you will be immediately mentioned to go for the coding section that is stage 2. It also has medium-level coding questions. You will be given 2 questions to solve. String & array handling are the two hit topics in this section. Although you need to have a good understanding of at least one programming language. I personally prefer java because of its rich classes and easy handling but any language you are comfortable with will do good.
Stage 3:- Communication ( 20 Mins.)
It is the easiest section as it is a communication test. Read the information carefully in every section. You will be asked to read a line or rearrange a line you have heard and say it in an arranged manner, recall the story told to you and repeat it at best. There is no need to hyper if you think your communication skills are not that good because this section is more about how attentive you are when you listen or see something. If you want to practice just watch a Hollywood movie without subtitles and try to understand or recall lines said because the sound you will hear in this section will be in an American accent.
Stage 4:- Interview
The interview round is really easy, all you have to do is prepare your best introduction because most of the questions will be asked from that. Just practice how you will explain about your project, hobby, the problems you faced during the project, and how you handled it, Was your project a group project & your mentor, and how he helped you. Other than that basic managerial questions. I was not asked any technical questions but I will suggest you practice explaining the basic OOPs concepts and other things you have mentioned in your resume. The interviewer was really sweet, so you don't need to panic at all. Refer to youtube videos to practice managerial questions & to prepare an introduction. Try to put on a good smile during the interview.
Best of luck! for your upcoming Accenture drive.
